I am seeking a position where I can use my writing and communication skills, particularly in a field related to the outdoors, action sports, health/fitness, or gear. I enjoy anything creative and working with people to provide entertainment and educational experiences.

•	Develop and pitch conceptual ideas, research, conduct interviews, provide photography and write articles for print and digital publications: Men’s Journal, SUP the Mag, Adventure Sports Network, The Inertia, Jolyn Clothing, Standup Journal, Paddle Examiner, SC Journal, Corky Carroll’s Surf School

•	Create viral headlines and write articles
•	Develop online slideshow content, including layout, editing, and photo selection
•	Create news alerts for e-blasts


Content Editor

•	Lead coordinator for special events
•	Lead overnight program coordinator
•	Highest level science instructor for day and overnight programs in marine sciences and outdoor education


Event Coordinator/Science Instructor

•	Business development including lead generation, database management, telecommunications, direct mail and e-blasts.
•	Concept development, editing, and copywriting for advertising and website content.


Marketing Assistant

•	Concept development, research, interviews and posting articles for the magazine and their website
•	Special event coordination, including SUP Awards and Pacific Paddle Games


Editorial Intern

•	Coordinate with sponsors and develop event sponsorship portfolio packets
•	Monitor and track social media sites
•	Event coordination for contests and award shows
