Dafna Babchuk
Apparel Production Coordinator
Summary
I have been in the production field in fashion for the past 9 years. More recently I was at BCBG Max Azria as a production coordinator for the knits and sweaters division. On a daily basis I communicated with our overseas factories, vendors, mills and domestic manufactures about all the open and upcoming styles we were producing. Taking the time to analyze and ensure quality is maintained and also improved with our products is a passion of mine with product. I also assisted with costing from initial to final cost of the PLM of each style. Managing on an average of 120 open SKUs and adopting 40 new ones each delivery combined for knits and sweaters is an organizational skill that I take pride in. Working with cross functional teams to make sure the product is in top quality while maintaining garment deliveries. Handling PO issues with logistics and drop-shipment/partner shop teams is a role that was developed since I was at BCBG.
