Create and manage product life cycle including updating line drawings, BOMs, and all construction details for over 75 styles
Balance the workload of three categories (Kids, Teens, and the Essentials pant program) with two separate merchandisers to ensure that all deadlines were met
Attend and assist with fittings on both live models and dress forms then work closely with the Fit & Spec team to clearly translate any necessary changes to the tech pack
Communicate internationally and domestically with factories in order to ensure the highest quality of product is produced
Adapted my personal work style to work with two managers to ensure that all deadlines are met
Used Adobe Illustrator and PLM daily while focusing on the details that make a product exceptional

Product Developer 

Issued Purchase Orders to mills ensuring that details such as fabric content, color, and amount ordered were correct on each and tracked their progression until the fabric was delivered at the correct garment factory
Communication with international and domestic mills and garment vendors to ensure that fabric deliveries are met on time
Worked with mills to adjust delivery dates as needed
Utilized Microsoft Excel, PLM, and SourceMap software on a daily basis to ensure correct information is given to the Global Sourcing teams
Provided color comments to submitted fabrics

Material Operations Coordinator (temp)

Collaborated with other interns, as well as Cabela’s Product Development team, to redesign a Guidewear (premium fishing) apparel line providing informed fabric recommendations throughout the entire product development process. This line will hit the stores in Spring 2018.
Tracked material development, evaluated trims and material samples for approval, and provided feedback to manufacturers for revisions to ensure a quality product was produced
Maintained and organized a fabric library of active and past fabric swatches
Presented to executives on key business sectors such as the Retailer of the Future and the Profitability of Powersports, and showcased my work to buying teams and managers in an Overview of the Product Development Process
