Assistant Apparel Buyer and Sales

I am an energetic and motivated individual that is looking for a challenging and dynamic career. My background involves extensive customer service and retail experience; but I would like to branch out to learn new industries and skills. 

I would like to further my experience in the business world with a company that is constantly evolving and growing; and would allow me to grow with it. My ideal company is one that truly appreciates the outcome above the process. I thrive in cultures that are open to new ideas and allow to not only succeed, but fail on your own terms. Being a part of a team but having individual expectations and timelines placed on me is of high value. A company that is well beyond the point of an "open door policy" is essential. I believe in no doors.  

As a Utah native I grew up in the mountains and love the outdoors; I have a particular soft spot for running and any sport involving a bicycle. I am in the process of relocating to San Diego, Ca and will be available the first week of November 2015.

I have held a variety of jobs in the outdoor gear industry in the last year. The one that has stood out the most is my current position as an Assistant Apparel Buyer. As an Assistant Apparel Buyer I helped the apparel division (especially the women’s clothing) grow to almost double its financial size; and solely incorporated new brands into the store. This is due to tracking and monitoring sales, following trends, and merchandising.

•	Monitor and track apparel sales
•	Complete weekly restock orders
•	Assist with the decision of pre-season ordering
•	Merchandising and planning apparel section to optimize sales
•	Assist customers with product information and location
•	Coordinating women’s clinics and group rides
