As a female skateboarder, I've seen the industry grow tremendously over the years and it has always been a goal of mine to eventually become a part of it. Having skated for 3 years myself, I personally know what shoes, socks, and clothing I prefer. Since the women's skate scene is growing (finally!), I think I would be a wonderful addition to any company looking to reach out to that specific community. While my strengths lie in the skateboarding community, I would also love to branch out and am willing to do just about anything I possibly can to become part of a great team that caters to the skate/snow/surf/swim communities. I have experience working in sales for Vans, and that job opened my eyes to the wonderful opportunities that I would love to explore through this field.

One of the main things I do as a preschool teacher is cater to each unique child's needs. Every child is different and all have their own learning styles. Following curriculum as well as writing lesson plans each month while making sure every child is progressing at their own rate and working towards the skill level they need to achieve in order to move up into kindergarten is a huge part of my job.

Working in the food industry, it is important to maintain patience, focus and determination to do whatever it takes to provide the guests with whatever they may need in order to have an excellent experience. Multi-tasking is a must and typically is what makes you successful. Working as a team to give speedy service, and communication with the host, kitchen, and manager is vital to a smooth shift.

One of the most important parts of working at Vans was maintaining the vision that the company was built on. Striving to provide only the best customer service for every person walking into the door to ensure they were walking out with at least one pair of the legendary and well-known Vans shoes. Organizing and cleaning the shoe racks so the store is in pristine condition, and re arranging the floor so everything always looks fresh and exciting. Visual merchandising in retail is extremely important so the customer can see what looks great together and hopefully encourages them to purchase more items!

Sales Associate

As a receptionist, you are the friendly face who greets each guest as they walk through the door. It is important to keep the salon in top condition and help all the stylists as needed through out their busy days.
