• Lead the Skinit design department of 12 designers. Team responsibilities
included developing product roadmap strategies, graphic design, branding, web
design, packaging, trend scraping, strategic sales messaging, ID, and business
development in client relationships.
• Lead the creation and development of retail/business development sales kits to
showcase emerging trends, which contributed to increasing sales for 1 product
by $1 million per month.
• Developed and lead the execution of Skinit’s rebranding, which included taking
the brand from a young adolescent brand focus to an overall consumer lifestyle
brand focus, and synchronizing efforts throughout the company which resulted
in creation of new tagline for Skinit: “ABOUT U,”
• Developed product roadmap strategy based on OEM development timelines,
retail sales channel periods, Skinit internal capabilities, and consumer electronic
market research.
• Created and lead the development of 3 new product categories for Skinit, with
each category focusing on new product markets, innovative strategies to help
Skinit secure its position in the marketplace, and in differentiating itself from
competitors.
• Built and implemented a product design language that coordinates a product’s
price position based on function, materials, colors and designed surfaces to
create differentiated value for the customer.
• Created packaging design language that focused on enhancing the consumer’s
visual impression of the product, allowing for flexibility with sku complexity.
• Built relationships of trust with business partners to increase sales and revenue.

Consumer Notebooks and Notebook Accessories
• Lead designer in the development and creation of MUSE (Materials,
Usability, Sensory, Experience) design language for Hewlett-Packard. The
acronym MUSE has now become the design philosophy for Hewlett-Packard
Consumer notebook design team, separating design elements to be positioned
across tiers of HP product portfolio.
• Created design story (MUSE) that was used to sell the design internally and
within our sales channels. The story shows the distinction between products
within HP’s portfolio and its design advantage over its competitors.
• Lead designer in the development of an exclusivity agreement between HP and
a strategic partner resulting in greater product profitability, while reducing HP
operational costs.
• Lead designer in the invention of a new finishing process to improve yield,
reduce cost, and maintain greater color precision.
• Submitted several patents to strategically secure HP’s position around
