Special Events Coordinator

I am the Special Events Coordinator for the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite Foundation in Washington, DC. The Scottish Rite is a non-profit organization which works to help raise funds for RiteCare Children's Hospitals around the country. I plan and execute a variety of special events ranging from webinars, formal banquets, black tie events, outdoor events, 100 year Celebrations to fashion shows in DC,VA, and MD.

o	Coordinates all travel, tour and meeting arrangements for major donors to the Supreme Council.
o	Manages all events for the annual webinar, Celebrating the Craft, and for the Centennial Jubilee.
o	Prepares expense reports and credit card reimbursement forms.
o	Manages text, program content, scripts, room layout, travel arrangements, schedules and guest correspondence for all fundraising events.
o	Coordinates the direct mail program and assists in researching potential major donors. 
o	Published writer for the Scottish Rite Journal.

Managed CEOS’s personal and professional schedules, travel, appointments, and meetings.
Handled all catering and correspondence and follow-up.
Coordinated with restaurant vendors for payment, scheduling, products, etc.
Used Quicken to pay bills. 
Developed original graphic designs for restaurant materials, menus, etc. 
Helped CEO stay organized by filing materials, printing and organizing materials prior to meetings/calls.
