Graphic Designer

Thank you for your time. I'm a life-long artist and graduate of San Jose State University and the San Jose City College Multimedia Digital Arts program. I am well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint/Keynote, Sketch, and Dreamweaver (HTML and CSS). I am also skilled in the art of freehand production and video editing. 


Created Photoshop prop templates for this photo booth rental company. Starting will Adobe Illustrator, I produced vector shapes and graphics, which were then transferred to custom Photoshop templates. From speech bubbles, to street sign shapes, to cartoon-style ‘thumbs up’ props, these templates’ sizes, text, fonts, and colors were created to be easily editable by the client to fit any Central Cal Photo Booth event.

Designed original branding and multiple websites for this non-profit/realtor. I created an original brand logo and three separate websites with unique designs; one for supported living services, one for real estate services, and one for the Samaritan Group home/splash site. Illustrator was the primary creative tool assisted by Photoshop for the project’s pixel-perfect digital images. These sites were constructed via Adobe Dreamweaver with a decent amount of custom coding and editing to achieve the desired HTML results.

Web and Graphic Designer

Designed original branding for this Central Coast apiary. With the opportunity to utilize my pen & ink background, I created a hand-drawn cartoon honeybee mascot, which was incorporated with an original logo for this client’s marketing and packaging purposes. Although Photoshop was used for the initial editing stage of various aspects, the client’s brand identity was constructed in Illustrator with all images, including the cartoon, as pure editable vectors.

Duties included the visual design of logos and digital images for this mobile app company's client base, as well as Quality Assurance in terms of the technology’s functionality (startup funded by Chase/JP Morgan). Illustrator was used for vector logos with Photoshop as the go-to program for product images and other photo-based components. Working with other visual designers, UX/UI engineers, and a team of marketing professionals, our close-knit group helped to bring one of the first ‘browse-order-pay’ smart phone technologies to the world of mobile applications.

Graphic Designer/QA

Created original freehand-based cartoon for Wired’s "Nice Guys Guide" online article. Various Adobe programs and freehand skills were used in concert for this project. A group of socializing Millennials began as an ink sketch, which was scanned, edited in Photoshop, converted to vectors and colored in Illustrator, then exported as a web-intended PNG, per client’s request.

Illustrator/Cartoonist

Designed original branding and website for this auto repair station. Using the iconic Unocal 76 ball, I created a brick-and-mortar feel for this client’s small town appeal, including a custom logo to highlight the business’ personal beachside community connection. Photoshop was invaluable for this project to ensure pixel-perfect digital images and custom photographs. Illustrator and Dreamweaver were utilized for the overall vector wireframe construction and HTML web compatibility.

Created visual mock-ups for this Silicon Valley entrepreneur. Utilizing the client’s basic hand-drawn sketches and verbal descriptions, I produced digital representations for multiple innovative ideas. Photoshop was the primary program for this project to construct realistic images that one could imagine existing on a store’s shelf or shipped to their desired destination.
