I have a background of 6+ years in luxury buying and planning, both for department stores (Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus) and vertical retail (Abercrombie & Fitch).  My experience includes both e-commerce and brick & mortar.  

In 2008, I earned an MBA specialized in International Luxury Brand Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris.  This experience afforded me the opportunity to act as a consultant in the strategic re-positioning of Sergio Rossi (Gucci Group) in the U.S. market, as well as a retail internship with Chanel.

I am currently seeking a challenging opportunity in buying/planning with the opportunity to be a key influencer in the growth and development of a designer/luxury business. My ideal role will challenge me both creatively and analytically.


*Owned bottoms-up plans and influenced tops-down plans for 250M+ annual business across multiple categories.
*Supported aggressive growth in outerwear/swim categories by developing financial plans, including pre-season assortment, pricing strategy, receipt flow, promotional/markdown cadence, and liquidation strategy.
*Forecasted future sales trends and provided strategic analyses to improve profitability and exceed company financial goals.
*Responsible for writing all buys and passing to vendors.
*Acted as the "center of the wheel", providing internal customer service to cross-channel teams including Merchandising, Allocation, Sourcing, Store Planning, Marketing, and E-commerce.
*Supervised junior-level planners and interns.

Merchandise Planner/Buyer (e-commerce and stores)

*Supported aggressive growth of Men’s Designer from 15M (2011) to 40M (2012) for FLS and Nordstrom.com.
*Conveyed buying office strategic vision to Retail organization and Marketing/Site Merchandising.
*Managed in-season business by negotiating re-orders, RTVs, and inventory movement.
*Managed e-commerce business from pre-market planning, product selection, and strategic ranking on site.      
*Negotiated with vendors for RTVs, markdown allowances, Anniversary Sale exclusives, online distribution, etc.
*Collaborated with photo studios to optimize Men’s Designer photography standards.

*Supported 25 million annual business across a multitude of product categories and 50+ vendors.
*Optimized sunglasses assortment across 20+ vendors, contributing to double-digit growth.
*Prepared monthly financial projections, including sales, inventory, and gross margin.
*Managed inventory levels by negotiating quarterly and seasonal RTVs and vendor-funded markdowns.
*Assisted with product selection and assortment strategy.
*Led creative direction of Men’s fashion shows.
