Fine art and film. i have an insatiable curiosity for foreign cultures and new art forms.

My name is Emerald Klauer and I am a recent graduate in Graphic Design from Iowa State University. I designed and illustrated for several organizations and publications on campus. I am an independent young designer who assembles her own furniture and gets her homework done on time. When I close my eyes at night I dream about Adobe Illustrator, and when I wake up I dutifully say good morning to the rest of my design programs. Outside of Graphic Design I study Spanish, photography, fine art and film. I have an insatiable curiosity for foreign cultures and new art forms. I am interested in gaining experience anywhere where creative minds challenge my perspective and dare me to raise my standards. Nothing brings me greater joy than being able to prove my worth through the ingenuity of my work.

Created assets for website homepage, product pages, and product based email marketing campaigns. Designed customer service based web pages. Assets included photo collage, and text-only imagery.

Junior Designer

Designed and printed publications for alumni relations, student recruitment, and merchandising. Media include: web templates, brochures, magazines, postcards, banners, chapbooks, and posters. Worked closely with writers and web editors to maintain a strong visual identity through out all publications.
