Casandra Grullon

Casandra Grullon is a New York based cartoonist and illustrator and a recent graduate of the School of Visual Arts. Her work consists of short form comics in a range of genres, from horror to slice of life to romance. She focuses her storytelling on the emotional journey of her protagonists and how these emotions affect their actions and relationships with others. Her goals are to be a visual storyteller in comics, illustration and storyboarding. She is inspired by illustrators, comics artists and animators alike. Some of these artists include Emily Carroll, Kate Beaton, Amy Reader, Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata and Satoshi Kon.
