I’m a versatile product and branding designer focusing on soft goods and accessories.

Collaborated with VP of Design and Development and worked on Spring 2021 bag and knitwear colorways, VLPs, and tech packs.

Soft Goods Designer (contract)

•Collaborated closely with founders to understand the overall business direction and participated as a voice in brand narratives, go-to-market strategies, and analytic feedback.
•Communicated weekly with international development manager and outsourced designers.
•Created wire frames, prototypes, and questionaires for user-ability testing.
•Directed and designed branding identity across variety of formats including logos, illustrations, apps and website, social media, and investor presentations.


UI/UX and Brand Designer (contract)

•Nationally traveled to work closely with founder to understand the company’s vision, target audience, and brand narrative of the start-up.
•Collaborated with marketing director and directed and designed all branding identity assets including logo, website, marketing collateral, signage, wall murals, merchandise, social media assets, illustrations, and vehicle wraps.


Branding Designer (contract)

•Produced multiple lines of sports and lifestyle accessory products and packaging through different license channels including SMU accounts.
•Partnered with Design Director and CDO to identify seasonal styles, merchandising, materials, and color.
•National communication with New York branch.
•Managed other junior designers with design briefs, handoffs and processes.
•Worked in a very fast paced environment on tight project deadlines across several brands.
•Managed product and packaging design workflow in collaboration with sales and development team.
•Participated as a voice in market and trend research, brand narratives, human factors, and material and cost decision making.
•Completed all CMF and technical specs, visual line plans, and sample review documentation.
•Obtained a close cross-functional collaborative relationship with the development and sales team.

Other Daily Responsibilities:
•Market & trend analysis research
•Creating and editing seasonal VLPs with high attention to detail of CAD drawings, product descriptions, and color codes.
•Creating and editing various technical specs, merch and PO •Boards across multiple retail and product channels.
•Reviewing product and packaging samples for quality of color, construction, materials, logo treatments, and printed applications, and finishes.
•Responsible for delivering product renderings, retail concepts, and illustrations to sales team
•Designing patterns and graphics for a range product applications, digital and printed marketing collateral, and seasonal catalogs.
•Managing detailed product descriptions copy per seasonal catalog.
•Designing and creating tech packs for hangtags, boxes, poly bags, sleeves, hangers, PDQs, shippers, signage, shelf talkers & POP displays for various brands.
•Photographing, editing, and managing imagery for multiple lines of products for a wide range of visual merchandising.

Soft Goods and Packaging Designer (Accessories Division)

Designed brand identity including logos, stationary, and social media assets.

Designed a new style of men’s sunglasses and delivered all corresponding technical specs.

Collaborated with owners to iterate design rounds of packaging and marketing collateral.

Graphic Designer (contract)

•International travel for product development processes and relations and client presentations.
•Daily international and national communication with factories and consultants regarding sample revisions and other development processes.
•Managed and worked in a fast paced environment with multiple design and development project deadlines.
•Participated as a voice in market and trend research, brand narratives, human factors, and overall design direction.

StartUp San Diego is a platform for entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors; I aided in the production of this event, which focused on leveraging technology and fashion to design an innovative product.

Designed and prototyped four laminated, veneer, modular recycling bins for a sustainable focused event held by Design Ethos.
