I have been an athlete my entire life. My favorite pass-time activity is surfing. I began surfing when I was 7 in the cold waters of Maine, US. (I also have a strong background in winter sports, such as snowboarding, skiing/xc skiing, hockey, swimming, etc.) I initially attended the University of Rhode Island to focus on Marine Biology and fisheries management. I later decided to transfer to the University of New Hampshire where my focus became business in developing nations. Most of my professional passions lay where my personal passions reside. I love language. I speak Spanish and have lived in Costa Rica for some time, while also having visited other countries. I aspire to work behind a business that shares at least some of the values that I have, specifically, athletics, wellness, surfing, supporting local communities, good food, and so much more. I am coming out of a business in Boston where I worked as a technical recruiter. I did not enjoy the work. I found it to be very inauthentic. I am an intelligent young person with a drive for growth, and new experiences. I found the work there to be redundant and my boss (7 years my senior) to be doing the same work that I was doing in my first few months while employed there. I worked for Oakley at a retail level years ago, but I would love to find myself working for a business at the corporate level which is similar to Oakley in the sense that it promotes an active lifestyle. I am 22 years old. I am willing to relocate for the right position. I am a loyal individual with huge growth potential. I see myself getting my MBA in the next 2-3 years. I am also participating in an online course which teaches the basics of online/webpage development. Today's market is all based on technology. It is best that all of us growing our careers have a base knowledge of these skills. Please reach out to me if you feel as though I would be a good candidate for any position. I love building relationships, problem solving, working on teams, strategizing, having fun, sharing laughs, and so much more. Look forward to hearing from you.
