Wave Planner

•	Assign and monitor the workload including replenishment staging, wave times, pick and pack assignments for various departments.
•	Ensure wave schedule supports service level agreements and flow through the distribution center.
•	Develop new waving strategies that improve distribution center flow and performance; analyze wave configuration.
•	Open dialogue between replenishment and packers for stock replenishment. 
•	Participate in the planning of new operational functions in the distribution center.
•	Understand, teach and train on new technology and /or process updates.
•	Collaborate with the leadership team and consultants to understand the objectives of zone locations.
•	Provide daily operations thorough updates.
•	Work closely with Packing Supervisors to ensure waves are prioritized to ship by start date.
•	Worked with Operations Management Team to improve operating efficiencies.
•	Generate UCC-128 labels for packing departments.
•	Collaborate and troubleshoot with various departments to resolve issues.
•	Understand Inventory and cycle counts when necessary to reconcile waves; Assist Inventory Control to ensure DC inventory is accurate to avoid shortages.
