Project Manager

I am a Project Manager for Roof Systems of Maine, beginning January 2015 to current date. I have met with clients to determine the best roofing needs of each client, researched roofing products, acquired material cost, estimated roof replacements and repairs of many types, and selected the applicable roofing crews and Foreman for each project. I have supervised each of my roofing projects to come in as budgeted, and work closely with four other Project managers for design insight, material selection and scheduling. Prior to working for Roof Systems of Maine, I have 24 years experience at the Paper Mill (Verso Paper) in Bucksport Maine, providing Drafting and Design expertise, Project Management, Supervision, Document Control and Regulatory compliance to support objectives to best meet the needs of an industrial, manufacturing and construction environment. 

I am detailed orientated, analytical, organized, ethical, hard working, and professional. I am safety focused and driven for success. I enjoy working with people, teams, groups, service providers, contractors and engineers to implement and improve on company objectives. I enjoy the challenges associated with new projects from conceptual design to implementation and completion. I am quick to learn new tools, skills, programs and techniques to improve on my areas of responsibility. I enjoy working with company specific policies and procedures, interpreting and clarifying regulatory codes, jurisdictional regulations and requirements to assist in maintaining compliance with Insurance, Federal and State.

Project Manager consisting of industrial, residential and manufacturing roofing and siding projects for new and old construction, repair and replacements.  The position includes site review, safety design and set-up, evaluations and inspection resulting in estimating, job proposals, specific job scope, submittals, warantees, scheduling and planning. 

Other services include custom metal fabrication and installation.
