Please allow me to introduce myself. My background creating training solutions for Fortune 500 companies makes me an ideal candidate for this position. In addition to being a road warrior comfortable traveling 150 nights per year, I hold a technology patent called PAPA and am patent pending on a business process called Mentored While You Work. While my expertise has a focus on sales training, my team has served many industries including IT, wholesale, retail, funeral, insurance, gift, luxury, and automotive. I spent five years devoted to a Fortune 500 company where I created a for-profit turnkey corporate training program which transformed their customer training cost center into a profit center. Across the board, participants have increased their purchases 48% after paying to attend a custom training program. One client invested $30,000 for 10 participants and has reported a $1,500,000 first year return on their investment. In my last salaried position, I was the National Sales Trainer for Rustoleum Corporation. This position required me to work independently and travel nationwide on a weekly basis. I supported 180 retail account managers at the National, Regional, and local levels. Rustoleum ended that year $15M over plan and $30M over LY after missing all sales goals the year prior to my arrival. I individually coached and mentored a new hire salesperson that ended his first year at 239% of goal. He won the "Captain's Award" for being the top salesperson in the country. Before that, I was the Corporate Training Manager for the giftware company Enesco. There I focused mainly on the national field sales force of 263 outside and 38 inside salespeople. My primary objective was to teach the principals of account management through workshops, performance consulting, and individual coaching. I worked one-on-one in the field coaching and mentoring the sales force. One salesperson directly attributes a $100,000 increase in 4th quarter sales in a $1 Mil territory to working with me for two days. I have extensive experience in staff development, including the development of a six-month new hire orientation program, the creation of a policy and procedure manual, and the implementation of sales management tools that increased inside sales revenue by over 100%.
