Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Hands-on mechanical engineer experienced in product launch from design, through prototype builds to  production. Experienced with fixturing, potting, adhesives, micro-assembly, optics, 3D-printing and fabrication selection.  Skilled at data collection and analysis. Flexible team player.  Extensive work experience in education and cross-cultural communication.  


Maintain CAD data and documentation from ID through assembly.  Create solid models, 2-D drawings, and non-technical presentations.  Identify fabrication technologies for custom components, communicate with fabricators, and execute DFM changes.  Assemble prototypes, develop procedures, write assembly instructions, and train assemblers at contract manufacturer for alpha and beta builds.  Purchase tools, design fixtures and write specifications for production.  Scrub BOMs. Write ECOs.
