McDavid - Western National Sales Manager (2011 May – 2015 September) 
Sports Medicine, Protective and Recovery Apparel - $75 Million Annual Sales Woodridge, IL

Managed thirteen McDavid sales representatives in the Western United States. Serviced customers such as BSN Sports, Eastbay, Scheels Sporting Goods, Sports Basement and Universal Athletics. Also called on the NBA, NFL, NHL and all major NCAA teams in the West.  Built many successful planograms to optimize their space and turns. Helped develop our sales programs, did detailed forecasting, was in all product line reviews and tested new product concepts with teams. Travelled extensively and worked at all major tradeshows.  Also assisted in the enforcement of our MAP policies.

Western National Sales Manager

Hired and restructured 80% of XO’s U.S. sales force and increased their business by 20%. I managed thirty independent sales representatives and worked with all of XO’s small and midsize dealers in the United States. I have strong ties with Sports Inc., ADA, NBS and Play It Again Sports corporate offices.  I also restructured all their sales programs to optimize their business and worked on new products.

National Sales Manager

Worked with both Professional and NCAA Equipment Managers. I was able to place the new Shock Doctor Football chin straps on many high profile NCAA programs which helped increase national brand awareness. I helped restructure their entire sales force which increased their overall business by a massive amount in 2006 by adding hundreds of new accounts.  I also was the driver behind them launching their #1 selling product Gel Max in team colors which increased their retail space substantially because now their customers were carrying multiple colors not just one, this also increased their sell through.

Hired their entire sales force and grew them to $4 million in sales.  Developed all their sales programs, helped in the design their entire line, assisted in the marketing of their new brand and was involved in all their pricing structure.  Helped oversee the entire business and was able to land a major chain Galyans Sports in their first year.

Worked in multiple positions within the company.  Ran their entire ice and inline skate development program while servicing over eighty accounts in the Upper Midwest which was their strongest territory, I was one of the top salesman in the entire company.  Traveled extensively in Asia and abroad working closely with suppliers around the world.  I trained all their sales reps and global distributors on the products I developed.  I also worked closely with all their largest customers such as Dick’s Sporting Good, The Sports Authority, Champs Sporting Goods, Perani’s Hockey World and Hockey Giant.

Built the company from the basement of my friend’s house into a global brand and held multiple positions within the company.  Managed close to 100 employees in my mid-twenties in the operations side of our business. Implemented many new technologies into the business and scaled our operations. I also did 80% of the purchasing in our company and worked with many companies abroad.
