Senior Field Marketing Specialist

Enthusiastic and determined digital marketing strategist in discovering, promoting, and featuring new talent. Knowledgeable event producer for live music events primarily in the greater Los Angeles area. Previously have worked on various marketing campaigns for major recording artists including Mary J. Blige, J.Cole, Snoop Dogg, and Leon Bridges.

Currently continue to freelance on special projects on an as-need-basis while supporting bBooth Inc., a talent discovery company, as the Social Media Manager. Additionally, I contribute to LA Music Blog as a writer- covering live shows, reviewing albums, and breaking new artists.

Utilize social media to drive traffic to digital assets and create brand awareness from an organic and local level. 

Identify like-minded artists/brands, set up local contesting that target lifestyle accounts, contesting to engage fans and potential consumers.

Identify partnerships in the target markets to host promotional events. 

Provide branding to key stores for point of sale display, poster placements, promotional items at point of sale, and other high visibility locations, seed music to target retailers for in-store display, distribute promotional tools at like-minded events.

Create a content strategy that includes original and engaging content across multiple social media platforms that increase overall brand awareness. 

Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.

Stay current with social media trends and tools – includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.

Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

Maintain high customer retention by responding to all inquiries quickly and efficiently.

Assists with producing/booking talent for weekly iHeartRadio show. Regularly attend events that feature bBooth artists and/or related content to the targeted demographic.

Analyze and report social media actions on a reoccurring basis for successes and new opportunities.

Collect and analyze information about newsworthy events to write news stories for website: Receives assignment or evaluates news leads and news tips to develop story idea.

Gather and verify factual information regarding story through interview, observation, and research. Organize material, determines slant or emphasis, and writes story according to prescribed editorial style and format standards.
