Meat Clerk

Looking to get my foot in the door in the industry!

Trim, wrap, scale, and re-wrap meat products, price items for sale and assist customers in slicing, tenderizing, and packaging their purchases. Meat clerks are also responsible for ordering, maintaining inventory, restocking meat and package deli cases, and overall cleanup of meat department. 

Responsible for increasing customer confidence and loyalty by providing courteous and prompt service, consistent operating conditions and a friendly atmosphere. Courtesy clerks bag customer groceries, assist customers to their vehicles, retrieve carts from parking lot, maintain bag supplies and cleanliness of checkstand area, collect and break down cardboard boxes, secure price verifications, and return non-purchased items to their proper shelf.

Reviewed and filled prescriptions, and provided costumers with information and counseling regarding prescriptions and other medications. Provided assistance to registered pharmacist and pharmacy customers, managing up to 800 prescriptions daily. Compiled data, initiated new patient files, and updated existing files Managed special orders; received and stocked inventory, maintaining appropriate documentation. Answered phones for orders and refills; answered question on pricing worked with customers at drop off window, ensuring optimum costumer service to generate repeat and referral business. 

Pharmacy Technician

Ensured correct formula preparation according to the prescription following quality assurance guidelines. Weigh and measure suitable chemicals to prepare different kinds of compounds including suspensions, creams, solutions, ointments, capsules, and suppositories. Responsible for daily cleaning and logs in accordance to established policy.
