I feel fortunate to have 10+ years outdoor industry experience. Within the decade I have developed interests that have shaped my education and directed me towards a career path that encompasses what I am most passionate about; sharing my love for the outdoors.  A family owned gear shop established in 1954 is where I have devoted most of my adult working career. Within this environment my titles have expanded from enthusiastic sales person to general manager and retail buyer for multiple departments. 
The culmination of my vast experience and commitment to the industry have prepared me for new and challenging opportunities that I hope expand upon my expertise and dedication to the outdoors. 

Full time retail manager and buyer. Buying responsiblities include ski hardgoods and men's softgoods.  Execute daily managerial tasks required to run a retail store. Advanced technical knowledge in all departments; specializing in ski hardgoods, boot fitting, outerwear/sportswear, paddle sports and backpacking. Additional responsibilities include; staff training, consumer clinics, product demos, event coordination, product warranties, paddleboard instruction and ski/paddle-sport repairs. Over ten years experience in retail sales combined with business, communication and fashion merchandisng education from Western Michigan University.
