Thank you for your time and taking an interest. My name is Emily Hart. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Orange County, Ca. and graduated from Tesoro High School in 2007. After graduating, I played soccer and studied Communications at San Francisco State. In 2009, my thirst for competition drove me to transfer to UC Riverside, where I played division 1 soccer for two years. Soccer has been so influential in my life and how I o UC Riverside was an amazing experience for me. Being able to study with such a diverse group of students, really helped me grow as an individual. At UC Riverside, I studied as an Interdisciplinary major with a focus on Human Resources and Communication Studies. I have a total of 5 years of college completed and am looking for a career that will foster my love of communication as well as my eye for art and fashion. Office administrator, front desk and office assistant have all come second nature to me. My former employers always liked that I was willing to learn new methods and styles to improve office functionality. This has given me the skills and knowledge of how to play a supportive role and help my team succeed, as well as efficiently and effectively complete my own tasks and goals. When I worked for Ultimate Ears, my position was to support the staff as well as be the office administrator. They gave me the task of learning two data entry programs, MAS and Oracle. It only took me one week to master both programs. I was able to become an important part of their team within a week. I am hard working and attentive but the pride I take in my work is only trumped by my caring and competitive nature. Clients and customers have expressed that my truly empathetic approach makes them feel well cared for and in good hands. I genuinely enjoy problem solving and being a team player. I have always had an eye for aesthetics. When I worked for Ultimate Ears, I was asked to organize and create a room where they could display merchandise and products for important clients such as Michael Bublé or Jennifer Lopez. I created three wall displays, as well as installing and creating a space for merchandise and products. I was in charge of the inventory of the 'Swag Room', which held over $200,000 of products and merchandise. Once I was asked to put together a 'grab bag' with over $1,000 worth of product for Fred Schneider, one of the lead singers of the B52s. I loved that job so much, that it sparked my interest in merchandising. I am eager to get to work and look forward to connecting with you soon!
