Technical Services Specialist

Graduated from the University of Michigan in December 2014. There I received a dual degree in Art and Design and Environmental Studies. Among my intellectual interests are: industrial/product design, graphic design, marketing, environmental law/policy, social entrepreneurship.

I also enjoy squash, surfing, skiing, tennis, soccer, fishing, and bowling, among other things.

Provide technical support and develop customer solutions for broad array of industry users and specifiers, including engineers, contractors, distributors and international licensees.
Review project specifications and application requirements; effectively communicate product installation and application recommendations to clients to ensure successful outcomes.
Use initiative in carrying out assignments independently, often times without specific direction and/or instructions from immediate supervisor.
Troubleshoot job site situations, consult with management where appropriate, and develop solutions for customer base.
Initiate and maintain DOT/Product approvals with state and federal agencies.
Develop/write department specific technical product and company literature, including technical bulletins, case histories etc.
Coordinate project-related and outside testing needs; assist in budget development process as required.
Support corporate Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement. 


Originally cross-trained by Technical Services and Marketing, subsequently placed permanently in Marketing while still occasionally called upon for Technical Service assistance and Technical design work. Assist marketing with the design, creation, and delivery of marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services. Prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts. Become cross trained to support Marketing Manager functions. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, literature, trade-show signage, and packaging. Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. when necessary. Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies.

Marketing Specialist

Functioned as a Technical Service inter. Supported Tech. Service Director and Manager on matters regaurding Department of Transportation (DOT) product submittals, new product submittals, specifications for product. Managed project DOT database as comprehensive drive for reference by departments and field teams. Project designed to provide quick access to DOT contacts, product submittal requirements, websites, in addition to information regarding company QPL (Qualified Product List) and APL (Approved Product List) status in each state.
