My name is Zachary Thomas and I help companies enhance perception, customer sentiment, and interactions by creating unique social media campaigns.  

As a newly minted Marketing Program Coordinator I have begun to carve out what I hope to be a long and successful career by aiding companies in their ongoing quest to grow their brands.

Currently, I work as a Program Coordinator for SCORR Marketing. SCORR Marketing is a firm that offers a wide array of services which include, but aren’t limited to brand development, public relations, marketing, and web design. In this role I focus on a multitude of things. These include client consultations, needs analysis, social media reviews, cost estimation, and financial modeling. In addition I also oversee the project from inception to completion. Successes in this role include a number of satisfied clients.  

Colleagues and clients know me as an extremely motivated professional who can always be counted on to bring the right mix of ingenuity, passion, and personality to the job. I know that the long term company goals come first and I work very hard to understand what those are. I believe that keeping those goals in mind at all times is paramount to the company’s success. I work well by myself, but I am at my best when I collaborate with others.

As an initial contact for our clients, I determine their various marketing needs and tailor options across digital and print advertising mediums to meet those needs. I oversee these projects from conception to production by communicating with internal and external team members. To maintain deadlines and budget, I utilize the web-based, project management tool, Workamajig, to effectively track short and long-term projects throughout their lifecycles.

Program Coordinator

Using my knowledge of the marching band activity, I scheduled, built, and implemented group percussion curriculum and lessons.  By focusing on proper technique, musical awareness and etiquette I led the thirty person group to their highest competitive scoring season within the last twenty years.

Percussion Technician 

Under my supervision of the Yamaha “Game of the Week” campaign the Yamaha Corporation of America’s Percussion Twitter page reached over 1 million Twitter users within a three month period. This was a 46% increase from the previous year and propelled my division’s goal of becoming the foremost thought leader in our industry for all things percussion. 

Through my knowledge of current technology and trends, I researched, pitched, and implemented new channels, while educating internal staff on social media best practices to better Yamaha’s digital and social market share.  These technologies, best practices and channels included:
•	360Fly 360° Camera with tripod, harness adapters, and memory cards
•	Periscope live feed coverage during Winter NAMM 2016 Tradeshow
•	Educated internal staff on best practices for Twitter, Instagram, Periscope, Snapchat, and YouTube
