Windee McKinley


Beginning in 2010 with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I started on my journey in human resources as an assistant. I was a benefits specialist, coding specialist, and conducted the human resources new employee orientation. I furthered my career in 2013 when I was offered a position as a specialist with US Citizenship and Immigration Services in Laguna Niguel, CA, where I was responsible for general oversight of human resources activities at the California Service Center. I then received an opportunity at Premera Blue Cross as a talent acquisition coordinator, where I learned the specifics of recruitment coordination. I was then promoted to my current level, where I am the primary point of contact for all human resource related questions and concerns for all 2500 employees.
