It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for the position of Product Assistant for Young & Reckless.  As a marketing professional with over a decade in artistic experience and an extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry as a professional Vocal Artist,  I know my diverse skills and qualifications will make me an asset to the team.  

As you will see from the attached resume, I’ve built my career in a variety of roles, mostly in small companies where I was not just the Marketing Specialist but also a photographer, videographer, graphic/web designer, and salesman. I’m not only used to wearing many hats, I sincerely enjoy it; I thrive in an environment where no two work days are exactly the same. 

In addition to being flexible and responsive, I’m also an extremist for the details – particularly when it comes to symmetry, communication, and organization.  My most recent side project involved designing a website for the upcoming Hotter than Hell Hot Sauce: I proofed and edited all literature, photographed all product pictures, designed new logos and user experience. I believe in applying this same level of attention to detail to tasks as visible as designing an email campaign and as mundane as fixing the printer. 

Last but certainly not least, I want you to know that I’m passionate about entertainment. When I am not working and designing, I am constantly researching the latest trends in media, fashion, movies, theater, and upcoming talents.  I, myself, have performed with a wide variety of today’s top talents. With that said, those performances are few and far between now. My performance experience should not be seen as a hindrance rather an added level of my appreciation for all art forms.

Marketing Specialist | Graphic/Web Designer 
• Optimize the company’s presence by proactively seeking the newest trends in web design, social media, and print advertisements.  
• Redesign logos that have had a strong presence in the community since the 1960’s.  
• Redesign existing websites: phb-inc.com | delawaremillwork.com | francispollingerandson.com.
• Work with a wide range of media, including photography and Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Illustrator).  
• Gain website traffic and attention by designing email campaigns and posting eye catching updates on various social media and review sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Houzz, Yelp, and Angie’s List.  
• Weekly monitoring and maintenance of SEO.  
• Design, source, and order marketing print materials with various vendors. Such projects include, but are not limited to, business cards, postcards, brochures, presentation folders, clothing, car wraps and decals.  
• Format new spreadsheets for office and onsite construction workers.  
• Travel to areas of interest to expand the company’s presence by meeting with local architects and designers.  
• Assist in designing new facades for existing structures. 

Whilst residing in Delaware: 
• Prospect for new clients (home and business owners) by networking, cold calls, and advertising.  
• Attend Social Mixers to network at various Chambers of Commerce and charity events.

Vocal & Fine Artist

• Daily supervision of Green Room, Bar, Brandywine Room, Lobby Lounge, and Java Corner.  
• Assist in planning events such as the Mid-Atlantic Food and Wine Festival, Restaurant Week, PNC Awards.  
• Cater to the demands of many politicians and celebrities.  
• Train new employees and retrain current staff according to Forbes 5-Star Standards. 
• Ensure that all departments throughout hotel work together to achieve guest satisfaction. 
• Redesign food and beverage menus.  
• Redesign Green Room Logo.  
• Maintain standards during high volume due to special events, holidays, weddings, and theater shows.  
• Project an image of friendliness and high quality standards to customers.  
• Organize seminars for staff and guests to learn the newest food and beverage trends.  • Process guest reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.  
• Complete weekly Payroll.  
• Sommelier – Work with Chefs to create Food and Wine Pairings – Redesign wine inventory procedures.
