Intramurals Assistant

First responder for the campus Rec Center. Ensures patron safety in and around the pool area. Maintains the chemical balance in the water.

Lifeguard

Coordinates league sign ups and provides attentive and professional customer service to over 37,000 students and alumni.

Provides personal customer service to stadium guests and assists with stadium- related queries. Maintains direct communication with stadium staff via radio communications. Records all complaints, questions and incidents via the I.S.S. computer system.

Guest Services Assistant

Provided customer service to premium guests and ensured the suites and VIP area remained secure. Coordinated and marketed the premium pre-game tailgates. Assisted in event management including RSVP's, tickets, and communication with clients. Assemble marketing materials, sales tents, check-in tables, and concierge desk.

Premium Guest Services

Provided refreshments to volunteers and provided relief for volunteers to give them breaks. Chaperoned athletes to the podium for them to receive rewards. Supported volunteer management staff with crowd control and other errands.

Roamer

A one day children's baseball camp which involved one day of set up. Assisted in assembling marketing and promotional materials, customer service during the event, event set up and tear down and assisted the management team with last minute errands.

Operations Assistant

Laguna Seca Raceway Superbike Championships

Acted as customer service representative for the Media Center. Distributed information about the Media Center and assisted with any issues. Ensured only credentialed staff entered the structure.

Media Center Customer Service

Duties included providing customer service to 26,000 marathon runners including professional runners. Updated the database, allocating corrals after verifying the athletes' previous running times. Coordinated informational email blasts to provide the latest news about the marathon. Organized race entries to ensure there have been no errors through the online registration system. Coordinated the ordering of Legacy Runner apparel. Answered phone calls which involved regular marathon questions, queries and emotional support to runners. Supervised the Information and Solutions desks at the Expo and on marathon day.

Registration Coordinator

Supervised the other Hosts. First point of contact for guest concerns. Coordinated large party bookings.

Head Hostess

Provided efficient customer serviceand consistently exceeded expectations with the sales of new foods by coming first on the weekly sales chart. Assisted the restaurant manager with off-site promotion and marketing campaigns.

Waitress

Promoted the 49ers Women's 3 on 3 basketball tournament on campus by distributing promotional materials and the sales of team sign ups with CSULB university students. Assisted in the creation of the team brackets and graphic signage around the Pyramid (the venue). Coordinated the food and refreshment bar and assisting teams with any queries during the tournament. This was a successful event with profits being nearly $5,000.
