Marketing Director with more than 16 years of extensive experience primarily working in the consumer, retail, and sponsorship arena. Looking for an opportunity to showcase my skills and expertise for an organization in search of a complete marketing professional.  Have worked for some of the largest shopping center developers in the United States as well as the second largest global footwear company.

•	Responsible for the marketing efforts of the company’s 24 shopping centers in California, totaling more than 3.6 million square feet of retail with more than 420 retailers.
•	Work one on one with retailers on promotions and social media initiatives to drive sales for their business.
•	Providing the leadership, management, and vision to May & September International Council of Shopping Center trade shows, including booth layout, graphics, collateral, visuals, and travel for all team members. 
•	Directing the creation, implementation, and execution of marketing, merchant and community outreach projects for the retail development & leasing team.
•	Work with the leasing team and brokers on leasing brochure materials for existing shopping centers as well as the 20+ properties and an additional 4 million square feet of retail currently in development.

Director of Retail Marketing

•	Responsible for the day-to-day marketing and community outreach efforts for The Shops at Montebello, a 760,000 square foot regional shopping center with 140 stores and 4 department stores with close to 10 million annual visitors.
•	Created Gift With Purchase Promotions along with School shopper loyalty program that generated more than $1.3 million in trackable sales for the property in 2012.
•	Executed 49 special events and promotions at the property in 2012 with 9 celebrity appearances. For more than 200 days in 2012 there was a type of marketing activity at the property. 
•	Generated over $325,000 in income for the company from special events and business development opportunities, including a $180,000 sponsorship for new indoor play area for the shopping center in December 2012.  
•	Collected more than 21,000 email addresses, 2,000 mobile numbers and achieved more than 6,000 Facebook likes in early 2013 since starting with the property.

Director of Marketing and Business Development

•	Created and implemented promotions for the division generating 3 million additional transactions resulting in more than $59 million in sales. Managed multi-million dollar marketing budget for retail marketing division. Developed, managed, and evaluated all special events and sales-driven marketing campaigns for Skechers USA. Through promotions and special in-store events was able to collect close to 1,000,000 names for the company’s CRM database. 
•	Responsible for the creation and constant modification of new store grand opening plans and festivities for more than 40 store openings with the company. New store openings events included grand opening promotions, register to win contests, advertising, press releases, grassroots marketing, and cross promotions. 
•	Created and managed the quarterly marketing and promotions calendars for distinct store types and responsible for implementing those programs and promotions for all 280+ Skechers company owned stores.
•	Coordinated with the graphics traffic manager for creation, production, and shipping of all in store promotional materials globally. 
•	Planned itinerary, content, presentations, and produced annual Skechers quarterly sales meetings as well as the Annual Retail Kick Off Meeting for more than 300 Skechers employees, franchisees, global distributors, and corporate attendees. Presented all corporate marketing initiatives, results, and new programs at all meetings. 
•	Marketing point person for Skechers franchisee program. Worked hand in hand with marketing professionals from franchisees in implementation of approved Skechers marketing standards for their stores in Chile, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, and Portugal.

•	Responsible for the supervision of day-to-day operations of the Del Amo Fashion Center's marketing department, one of the largest shopping center in the Western United States with more than 200 stores and 9 department stores and more than 18.5 million annual visitors. Generated close to $280,000 in special event, sponsorship, and television filming income for the property. 
•	Responsible for all community special events planning and coordination, implementation and post event evaluation at the property.
•	Played an intricate role in the grand opening marketing efforts of Del Amo Fashion Center’s new $202 million 288,000 square outdoor promenade featuring 38 new national retailers in September 2005.

Director of Mall Marketing

•	Served as the Senior Marketing Manager at various shopping centers in the Western United States: Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos, California; Mesa Mall in Grand Junction, Colorado; Capitola Mall in Santa Cruz County, California; and at Valley River Center in Eugene, Oregon.
•	Assigned specific community outreach programs and projects to research and implement at more than 60+ Macerich Company shopping centers nationwide. 
•	Generated more than $125,000 in sponsorship income. 
•	Served as a marketing mentor to newly hired and recently promoted marketing managers.
•	Trained as media spokesperson for each property and conducted more than 60 combined radio and television and newspaper interviews. Generated more than $100,000 in publicity for properties.
