Product Manager 

I am an Asian American who has a strong background in Operations, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management in China. My experience in the BBQ Manufacturing business in the past several years has given him me opportunity to understand the U.S. market and bridging them with: product visions, executive leadership, and implementation amongst my teams and retailer buyers. I have worked with many OEM Brands and National Brands that has reached the “Big-Box” stores nationwide. Working with my team, I’ve implemented each of these brand strategies and has fulfilled each of my customers’ products, based on their seasonality forecasting of sales.

Clearly articulate the business value amongst the organization so everyone understands the intent behind our overall brand and products. Acted as Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day company activities. Implemented work-flow process and issued a Standard Operation Procedures that gave direction and balance amongst the departments.

Responsibilities included:

-Setting a product vision and strategy in place with Sales and Design team
-Owned the strategy behind the product launch and retail store merchandising 
-Sourced new China factories for new product development 
-Managed overseas suppliers/ factories – production, shipping, purchasing, inventory control
-Managed and allocated China surplus – weekly replenishment report and forecast data tracking of inventory for sales and logistic department  for drop shipments


Sales, marketing, merchandising, product development, and supply chain management position that ensured account maintenance and profitability with the top major retailers such as Lowe's US/Canada, Walmart US/ Canada, Walmart.Com, Sam's Club, Costco US/Costco.Com, and Costco Global Warehouses which included: Canada, United Kingdom, Taiwan, South Korea, and Australia.

Responsibilities included:

•	Building relationships with buyers from major retailers in North America and their global partners
•	Coordinated and built relationship with the retailers' global sourcing team who were overseas to provide all information of our customers regulations and standards for product programs
•	Managed U.S. and China merchandising team –plan, budget, and execute multiple projects for all existing customers by setting deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitored and summarizes progress of projects
•	Supply Chain Management – hands on experience with China manufacturing companies and suppliers by streamlining production planning, distribution, quality insurance, research and developing ,and price negotiation 
•	Sales and marketing strategy coordination with VP of Sales, Executive Vice President of Operations, and the Chief Executive Officer to balance margin structure for profitability on both ends of the B2B spectrum with our customers goals and expectations for their retail stores, in alignment with the  competitive market by building a product line of “good, better, and best”
•	Account Management - all actions that require attention to detail and observations of follow-up with buyers and suppliers such as: pricing landed cost of goods, contracts, claims, in-store ship-windows, shipping-coordination, supplier agreements, vendor set-up forms,  and product development
