Myles Potter

I’m a producer/ director with 3 years of experience in both news casting and in sports. I have worked for the Met Report which is a student run newscast and Metro State University of Denver. During my three years I was awarded two student achievement awards from the Heartland Emmy chapter, one for my on-air performance and one for my directing skills. Along with this I was awarded three Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) awards. I was also a member of the Metro State Broadcast Network (MSBN), which works with the athletic department at Metro State. I worked first as an intern then was a volunteer. During my time at MSBN, I held many positions. I was a camera man, editor, an anchor for our 30 minute show called the Roadrunner Review which airs on Altitude TV in Denver, Colorado. I recently graduated from Metro State University of Denver in December 2014 with a BA in broadcast production and a minor in business management. Colleagues know me as a highly energetic person with a great personality. I like to have fun, but at the same time I know when to get down to work. I’m currently looking for a position in the video production world and can be reached either through this profile or by email at [email protected]
