My background has given me an extraordinary amount of experience in managing projects and apparel product lines in diverse deadline driven work environments. 

My experience in project management spans across 5 years where I successfully created strategies to manage the full life cycle of projects by aligning with internal and external departments to ensure deliverables were achieved through:

- Strategic Planning: creating a 15 month outlook with internal departments and implementing strategies to meet the objective.
- Product Management: overseeing the life cycle of knits and woven categories, from concept to production while collaborating with designers and merchants to create a product line that reflects
current trends and sales needs
- Procurement: sourcing, evaluating the vendor selection and negotiating the terms and costs for contracts and programs.
- Vendor Relationships: monitoring key performance indicators and managing the production and delivery of orders.

Led efforts to create and implement operational processes for a fast paced short-term rental startup. 
Managed 50+ Sonder properties around the city of San Diego and owned quality assurance, housekeeping operations, vendor relationships and guest experience. 
Oversaw the day-to-day operations: payroll, scheduling, inventory management, quality audits, troubleshooting hospitality and operation issues.
Managed warehouse inventory and procurement requests.
Hired, trained, motivated and managed an 8 member team of hospitality agents.
Sourced and managed key vendor relationships: interior designers, house cleaning companies, photographers, repairmen, linens company, 3PL, etc.
Accomplishments: increased the net cleanliness score (NCS) and net promoter score (NPS) by 25 points.

Operations Coordinator

- Facilitated  the production process of soft goods and monitored inventory allocation for home furnishing company. 
- Managed communication, calendars, and hand-offs between internal departments and factories.
- Analyzed SKU performance in store and e-commerce channels.
- Partnered with Merchandiser to identify inventory and replenishment needs.
- Sourced new vendors  to position for business growth.
- Enforced quality standards and inspected strike-offs (samples) and production.  
- Placed purchase orders and monitored the development of samples and bulk production.


Domestic Textile Production Manager

Managed contracts and executed strategies for the portfolio of seven categories valued at over $200M in services and goods to the 3rd largest school district in the country.

- Sourced and procured new vendors by conducting competitive bids, RFPs/ RFQs, evaluated supplier selection by verifying capabilities, cost, - quality, value, and strategic fit for the district.  
- Led negotiations for vendor contract renewals.
- Key driver in operational changes with major suppliers, resulting in improved quality of products  and customer service.
- Identified solutions to save $1M in six months through a cost reduction, avoidance and containment programs.  
- Partnered with internal stakeholders to develop a sourcing and procurement strategy  for a 15 month outlook.  
- Coordinated with vendors to drive cost savings through operational improvements in the supply chain.  
- Approved requisitions and monitored purchase orders.


Category Buyer

Oversaw pre-production and production from concept through delivery. Managed factory relationships, calendar, and costing for knit, woven, and fleece categories.

- Managed production related tasks such as: allocating factory assignment, positioning fabrics and materials for initial ordering, and approving quality, fit, & design standards to Asian factories.  
- Analyzed, strategized, and executed global sourcing to maximize mark ups and on-time deliveries, while balancing product development needs and factory capacity management.
- Sourced and negotiated costs for fabric and raw materials.
- Identified cost saving opportunities and created plans to redistribute raw material liabilities to improve production inefficiencies.
- Managed work in process  (WIP) report.
- Communicated daily with overseas vendors to manage the development of samples and production.
