• Perform an active role in all functions of the product development cycle
* Serve as liaison between Product Designer and in-house sample room to ensure all design changes are properly understood and executed on samples
* Participate in sample review meetings to provide input to Product Designer and sample   makers about item changes

• Communicate daily with international factories via phone, email, and Skype
* Establish positive working relationships with factory merchandisers 
* Negotiate product quotes to achieve the lowest possible cost

• Produce Illustrator line art to distribute to vendors for sourcing 
* Follow-up with international factories to confirm understanding of item designs and get counter samples made quickly
* Review and provide feedback to Product Designer and vendors about raw materials, lab dips, and counter samples

• Managed and arranged third-party testing of new and carryover items for Wal-Mart, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and Bass pro using domestic and international testing facilities

• Finalized bills of materials with design department and Creative Director to create and distribute backpack tech packs to factories for new and carryover items

• Collaborated with Art Director to ensure proper product packaging text to achieve positive test results and optimum consumer understanding
