I have been an Accounts Receivable Credit/Collections Manager for many years in several different workplace classifications and am familiar with staffing, construction, wholesale/retail, distribution and manufacturing. I have reduced DSO's, created credit policies/procedures/collection quotas; reconciled disputes; and negotiated saving for my employers of thousands of dollars. I am familiar with Dun & Bradstreet, Experian and NACM credit reports, I am accustomed to working with all levels of personnel from clerk to senior management; and in various departments-sales, service, rental, parts, etc., inside and out of my employer including local and national accounts. I am familiar with Microsoft JD Edwards, Peachtree, Dysel, Avionte and other accounting software; collection agencies, credit limit setting, negotiating past due payment schedules; cash application, setting bad debt reserves, collection policies and regulations, along with financial statement analysis.
