Inventory Manager

Strong Apparel background with years working in planning + sales operations both domestic and internationally.  Past three years as the North America Inventory manager at Nike, responsible for the replenishment business, accounting for $1 billion in revenue + roughly ~ 90 million units annually.  Experience leading teams, influencing thru storytelling, business on a global level and building + executing strategies across multiple departments.

Responsible for the inventory team supporting Nike’s replenishment business  (~$1 billion revenue /  ~90 million units annually) representing all categories + product engines.  Reporting directly to Sr. Director of North America for performance and execution

Focused on long-term strategy with supply planning/production, demand planning and sales teams to support revenue growth, reduced inventories and increased responsiveness to market.  To do this, I engaged daily with multiple stakeholders to bring visibility to the opportunities, clearly communicating the goals and developing the tactical execution to achieve them 

Currently manage a team of Sr. Analysts (divided by Apparel, Equipment and Footwear) focused on the strategy + execution of supply management activities, hiring, team development and culture

Responsible to drive short-term "in-season" (monthly + quarterly) operations for all things inventory related (DC inbound/outbound + Logistics, S&OP updates) to meet revenue + inventory targets.  Reported to Sr. Leadership/ VP’s on results, challenges and next steps

Reduced sock inventory at factories over ~50% (from 7 million units to 2 million units) with no impact to service levels to market thru partnership with Global + North America inventory management teams

Identified  + resolved opportunity to update equipment lead times for domestic production, aligning timing of supply to Nike’s DC to demand month, resulting in reduced inventory carry by ~1 million units

Coordinated liquidation of excess inventory through Nike Factory Store and partnership with sales team to off-price channels (Ross + Marmaxx), being aware of margin erosion and potential market impact

Successfully completed Nike’s supply chain university, intensive course designed to understand the end-to-end process from production to finance, sales, merchandise to retail strategy  

Change leader for VR1, planning system update, transitioning short lead-time product planning into new system.  2-year process of change management with successful implementation + adoption from team

North America representative for responsive business, collaborating with supply planning, global and European teams to identify + resolve key supply chain challenges.  My involvement with this group targeted various ways of shortening product lead times, reducing inventory levels, aligning planning processes globally and optimizing production strategies, among other various projects, to create a nimble, responsive supply chain

In short:  my role is focused on supporting 95% service to accounts while achieving 'optimal' inventory levels through collaboration with multiple departments (e.g. Have enough inventory for $revenue, but not too much for risk of excess).  To do this, my role primarily is in storytelling, bringing everyone onto the same page and laying out the plan to move from point A to point B in the best way possible.

Contracted by Regency Group to oversee sales teams and develop Event + Design company, adding a creative resource to Regency’s existing 30 companies. Built company from ground-up; hiring, training, branding and operating business 

Advised Senior Management, specifically VP of Investments, on financial statuses and potential development opportunities for various subset companies within Regency Group 

Lead marketing campaigns and collaterals for Regency Group Holding, comprised of 32 companies 

Managed three sales teams, made up of a diverse, multi-national team of 20 employees, with Budget and Revenue responsibilities combined to a gross value of $50 million in annual sales 

Successfully identified and eliminated unneeded Operational expenditures to increase profits by ~10%, allowing business to meet 4th quarter profit expectations 

Collaborated with finance team to track quarterly goals and annual budgets for each company based on financial historical’s and market trends 

Lead multiple client pitches and joint venture acquisitions, one of which was a proposal for bringing Universal Studios and Disney (large scale entertainment development) to meet the Qatar National Vision 2030 goal; was presented to the Prime Minister of Qatar 

Responsible for International Procurement and Shipping oversight for Import/Export company. Spent time procuring goods in China, working with Logistics to track and receive goods

Sales Manager

Coordinated the International Sales process for Canada with various departments, Collaborating with Production to Sales, Demand Planning and Distribution 

Quantitative + Qualitative analytics of business (SAP, Cognos and Qlikview ) to accurately report to senior management the state-of-business. Worked directly with CFO and National Sales Managers in reporting and forecasting 

Identified and salvaged lost ‘open to-buy dollars’ by proactively adjusting inventory and distribution process to maximize the selling life and minimizing off-price Product 

Part of the DC change management team, PHASE I, taking DC Canada to SAP from AS400. As the first region to “go-live” with SAP, I would trouble shoot with the team to analyze data and initiate solutions to keep business running at full capacity 

Seasonal oversight of price conversions from American to Canadian currency, collaborating with Canada Sales teams to meet margin requirements of the business 
Created Domestic Inventory(ATS) pulls to avoid “short-shipping” any accounts and to meet delivery goals of sales team

International Sales Ops Coordinator

Responsible for Men’s Sales National Accounts (Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Ave.) and International Independent accounts; including weekly/monthly/annual selling analysis for all 

Created sell-thru reporting structure that allowed rapid movement of inventory to shift stores based on real-time performance of merchandise 

Worked with National buyers for trending seasonal buys and re-orders while also establishing new accounts/specialty store relations 

Merchandising + product allocation by-door for national accounts based on sell- through performance 

Distribution Oversight for men’s products for national & international accounts , acted as liaison with European office 

Oversaw Men’s + Women’s denim production + outsourcing with 3rd party vendor in LA based factories 

Rep-visits + Product Knowledge meetings to key accounts (CA, NEVADA, ARIZONA, TEXAS)
