Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsible for billing clients for material and hauling. Sending out invoices and statements. Reconciling A/R GL's at the end of the month. Setting up new customers, doing credit and license checks. Working closely with controller in regards to bad debt customers and payment updates for past due accounts. Working with sales when customers dispute discrepancies on invoices. Running credit card payments. 

Oversaw A/R assistant, cash applications, aging with updated notes. Worked closely with Owner and Controller regarding bad debt customers. Filed small claims paper work and attended small claims court. Filed mechanics liens and stop notices when necessary. Set up new customers, worked with sales regarding missing information on customer set up forms. 

Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Sending by monthly statements to customers. Reconciling discrepancies with invoices, charge backs and other issues that come up. Reaching out to customers regarding past due balances. Taking customer payments over the phone. Applying payments per customers request. Invoicing orders and posting invoices. Posting and applying cash receipts to customers accounts.
