With the undeniable agile entrepreneurial spirit and expertise, I recently built and sold his CPG company, Twistband, Inc. in 5 years to a national brand.  My wife found the material and together, starting in our garage, built a case study that will be told for years to come. Creating a global brand with an entire new category of a 'No Dent' hair tie, touted as the new Scrunchie. I was responsible for the domestic & international growth into 12 countries and retails like, Sport Chalet.

I saw a void in the Health and Performance world, growing Athleticism, LLC into six locations implementing their proprietary programs into thousands of athletes, teams, organizations and corporations, while selling related products. Many notable clients included, NY Knicks, SD Padres, Charger Pro Bowlers, Matt Fuerbringer (AVP), John Cook PGA, O'neill Surf Team (Jordy Smith), Arto Saari, Pepperdine University, the Dannon Company and many more. Justin was featured in the documentary movie, Vitality.  

My strengths and passion meet in combining the Health, Active and Fit space with his experience in building a Global Brand. 

Graduating in 1994 from the University of Southern California from the Marshall School of Business with a Bachelors of Science degree, Justin's emphasis was the Entrepreneur program. 



TWISTBAND, INC.
Industry leader and Innovator of hair accessories and more.  Created an entire new category of a “No Dent” hair tie, globally branding it in 12 countries and exited for a multi-million dollar win at 6x earnings to a national brand.  Founding the company in the garage, Justin & his wife self funded, built Twistband with hundreds of SKU’s, thousands of retailers and trademarks in 40 countries.

•	Transformed a start-up into a multi-million dollar business with positive operating profits in fashion, beauty, athletic, wellness and blogger outreach. 
•	Sold into major retailers Sport Chalet, Yoga Works, Refinery29, ShopBop, Tillys, The Buckle and more.  
•	Created global distribution in 12 countries; Japan, Canada and Europe, with 20 employees and four production houses.
•	Utilized banking relationships and positive credit to provide a substantial runway garnering a $350,000 loan in one week.
•	Launched an all store collaboration with JCrew, Oakley, Luna Bar, Hurley and more.
Marketing Excellence & Product Innovation
•	Edited promotional material, co-drafted distribution contracts with attorney, protected brand with cease & desisting of competitors.
•	Spearheaded efforts to secure trademarks with patent attorney in 40 countries.
•	Educated retailers on the importance of brand design, packaging and displays with quality control.
•	Created a US brand image to achieve market dominance in the US market and Japan.
Product Development & Brand Building
•	Kept in close contact with consumers via interactive, grassroots and Digital Marketing campaigns, which established a strong brand identity, creating an emotional attachment with consumers.  Sampling became the key to success.
•	Launched Monthly Subscription Club.
•	Brand activation through the Today Show, aired seven (7) times and through One Kings Lane.  Brand exposure and charity in donating product to the NBC Today Show Toy Drive.
