•	Successfully assisted with the reconciliation and collection of unbilled revenue for machines never billed totaling $2.1M; after project completion, a total of $2.5M was collected after resolving existing billing that was disputed.
•	Successfully reconciled and stabilized past dues from QuickBooks conversion to SAP; collected on overdue balances 180+ days originally deemed uncollectible totaling $1.1M.
•	Successfully cleaned up and streamlined the review of customer terms and credit limits resulting in less shipment delays due to credit holds; evaluations are completed monthly as needed and quarterly as a whole.
•	Evaluate order to cash processes to identify and optimize deficiencies that may cause billing errors and potential collection issues; collaborate with Sales Operations Manager and Data Management teams for resolutions.
•	Analyze and validate customer contracts to ensure they adhere to corporate policy in credit terms and limits; Furthermore, provide oversight to sales coordinators to ensure customer billings are processed per the terms of the agreement in place.
•	Responsible for the collections of $30M+ AR portfolio and consistently maintaining delinquent percentages at 10% or less on monthly basis.
•	Lead and direct Accounts Receivable team of 5 direct reports.
•	Coordinate and schedule weekly team meeting and weekly individual meetings to discuss open receivables and payment status; create action plans and repayment agreements as needed.
•	Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in excel and/or PowerPoint reflecting key metrics and trends regarding top 5 past due accounts, top 5 revenue accounts, past due receivables, forecast collections, and DSO.
•	Conduct regular analysis of receivables to ensure compliance towards collection policies.
•	Submit recommendations for credit terms and limits to VP of Finance and CFO for approval.
•	Coordinate with credit insurance for increased credit limits above $650K and escalate to Corporate Treasury for approval as needed per corporate policy.
•	Coordinate with Accounts Payable team weekly vendor payments and provide secondary approval of accounts to pay. Some customers are also vendors, so payments may be netted internally with customer approval.
•	Participate in bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly management calls to provide insight on the status of accounts.
•	Analyze and release orders as needed where credit hold has been triggered.
•	Designated as SAP “Key User” for Finance and Controlling team and have participated in over 30 projects.

Senior Accountant	(7/2018 – 3/2020)
•	Supported CFO and Accounting team by completing special projects to improve accounting processes.
•	Assisted CFO with financial statement preparation, KPI analysis, Worker’s Comp, and client related audits.
•	Assisted CFO with comprehensive training of new accounting staff; update training materials as needed.
•	Assisted Corporate Accountant with bi-weekly payroll by analyzing employee timesheet data for accuracy and creating a pivot table for total payroll dollar reconciliation.
•	Oversaw project controls ensuring executed contracts and change orders are received, held WIP gets resolved and billed, and address any projects with missing billing terms or budgeting issues.

Project Accountant	(11/2016 – 6/2018)
•	Prepared monthly invoices per contract for 30-50 projects and certified payrolls for 25-35 projects.
•	Start to finish project set up, including budget allocations, WBS set up, and contract compliance and monitoring.
•	Assisted project managers with financial analysis of costs to revenue and monthly project financial review.

Senior Accountant

•	Supervised AP and Accounting clerk and assisted outside CPA with financial statement preparation and tax returns. 
•	Timely month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, posted accrual and payroll journal entries, cash receipts, and quarterly distributions.

Accounting Manager

•	Effectively transitioned accounting data during the software implementation from QuickBooks to Viewpoint.
•	Successfully created and implemented SOPs for billing, collection, and accounts payable functions.
