With experience in sales, marketing, and events, I effectively manage business and understand the balance between customer needs and company demands. I focus on building  loyalty, long-term relationships, and strive to exceed sales targets while providing exceptional service. I achieve goals through understanding the importance of thoughtful planning and execution. I am a passionate long-time cyclist and endurance athlete and have enjoyed working in the sporting goods industry in a variety of roles for over 35 years.

As the second hire for a newly-formed US-based office for a high-end Italian bicycle brand, I handled a wide variety of roles outlined below. 

•	Sourced components for and managed fleet of 30 factory demo bikes for use at consumer facing events. 
•	Managed nationwide pilot Dealer Demo Program involving 18 dealers and 90 bikes.
•	Built event schedules and organized logistics for 10-15 events per year and worked most events.  
•	Created graphics and sourced promo goods, in-store displays and event displays.
•	Traveled the US visiting dealers to gather information on the brand and what changes could be make for growth resulting in increases of over 20% in both sales and profit. 
•	Researched 10 potential new outside sales representatives, made initial interviews, and assisted with on-boarding. 
•	Produced Sales Manual for outside sales force including: research, layout,  graphics, images, copywriting of brand history, technical information, key selling points, and competitive advantages.
•	Compiled competitive analysis studies and made changes resulting in greatly increased sales of entry and mid-level models.
•	Created and organized logistics and schedules for National Sales Meeting.


 VP Marketing and Events

Led clients visiting San Francisco from across the globe on road rides around Marin County. Provided routes, descriptions, and photo and video content for website use, took photos of clients during rides for their personal use.

Ride Guide

Responsible for day to day operations for ultra-high-end cycling boutique. 

•	Handled order processing and receiving, pre-season orders, international vendor orders including working with freight forwarders, duties, receiving, HTF Codes and pricing calculations.
•	Inventory management, sales, customer service, bike mechanic work.
•	Managed e-commerce website with product selection, inventory,  image content and copywriting.	

Operations Manager

Represented a portfolio of premium brands to an account base of over 100 retailers in one of the most competitive and densely populated bicycle retail areas in the US. 
•	Companies represented included: Highway Two (Continental, fi’zi:k, Brooks, crankbrothers, ABUS, Selle Royal), Fox Head, Inc., Speedplay, Electra, Profile Design, Scott, Orbea, SockGuy, ProTec, Canari, Rock Racing.
•	Responsible for opening new accounts while growing sales with existing partners.
•	Handled merchandising, inventory management, order processing, and warranties for accounts.
•	Provided ongoing technical product knowledge to account employees.
•	Pre-season program order booking and ongoing management.
•	Maintained very consistent monthly account visit schedule which was well appreciated by the dealers and management. 
•	Participated in trade shows and consumer events.
