Coming from a military family has given me the gift of travel. My extensive travels across the globe provided me with the opportunity to open my eyes to other cultures and ways of life, far different from my own. My experiences from traveling have given me the ability to transition into numerous environments. Therefore, enabling me to successfully and harmoniously interact and work with a broad spectrum of people. I have also worked within the hospitality industry for the past six years and have acquired a professional demeanor that translates across all age groups and organizational levels.

Having worked within both aspects of the hospitality industry, service and media relations, has allowed me to become very well rounded in my education. I am able to effectively problem solve from previous experiences which I then apply to marketing, event planning, and media outreach efforts. The caliber of clients I have worked with has also attributed to my level of expertise. As Assistant Account Executive at 2911 Productions Inc., I assisted with pitching efforts for; Bryan Voltaggio of VOLT restaurant, Occidental Grill & Seafood, BLT Restaurants, and more. As Executive Assistant to the President of Sara McGregor’s Capitol Catering, I produced events for high profile sites such as; The U.S. Supreme Court, The Library of Congress, Sewall Belmont House, The Florida Embassy, House of Sweden, and the Washington, D.C. Botanical Garden.

As Junior Publicist/In-House Photographer at Linda Roth Associates, Inc. I had the incredible pleasure of organizing event logistics, creating social media content, shooting photos for website and publication usage as well as strategic pitching to local media outlets for esteemed clients like; Knock Out Abuse Against Women, Celebrity Cruises, and Smashburger (D.C. Metropolitan area).

At my current position as Marketing Coordinator/Social Media Director at Tavern Hospitality Group I support the Director of Marketing by organizing marketing events, promotions and other duties as requested. I assist with Tavern partner special events (i.e., Broncos, Rockies, CBS) while also generating creative, unique marketing ideas and social media campaigns. My organizational skills help me manage ten THG social media accounts on several different platforms. Each quarter I compile the THG newsletter, which is distributed company wide. I also handle all donation requests as well as coordinating community outreach programs for each THG location.

My hospitality and media background has given me tremendous customer service skills, which in turn feeds my passion for communicating and assisting people. The opportunity to help expand and grow the vision of Outward Hound is something that I’m extremely eager to do and would very much like the chance.
