I've spent the last fifteen years working in the fashion industry.  I've done it all... retail to wholesale, buying to styling! I love the fast paced tempo of this industry. It's the only outlet I've found conducive to my need to be creative as well as extremely organized.

Built and maintained retail store physically and visually from day one.  Analyzed data to identify opportunities to increase efficiency, workflow, quality, and sales. Supported all operations of the retail store, including inventory procedures, marketing events and contests, staffing and the online presence of the brand.  Ensured profitability of retail store by controlling costs and expenditures. Achieved purchasing objectives, Developed and executed assortment plans based on sales and inventory to allocate for shop, meet individual financial needs and maximize profits. Periodically attended trade shows, show rooms and vendor meetings. Continually researched consumer needs, market trends, and fashion publications. Maintained vendor and supplier relations to obtain fair and reasonable prices, volume discounts, shipping arrangements and payment terms.


Operations Manager

Maintained responsibility for the overall daily operations of the Denim Bar. Supervised, scheduled, trained, promoted
and disciplined personnel. Managed budgets, marketing merchandising, and rotating inventory of stock. Accompanied
denim buyer on seasonal buying trips using an open to buy budget to replenish the store. 


Store Manager 

Worked with senior management to coordinate meetings and plan for several trade shows annually. This included budget
preparation, travel arrangements, manning the booth and more. Managed inventory database and developed cost sheets to track expenses. Provided administrative support for head designer, such as managing emails, phone calls and assisting clients.
