I want to empower people to have new enriching experiences in the outdoors to greater humanity's appreciation of nature and everything it has to offer, through my continual pursuits as a designer, volunteer, and an outdoor enthusiast.

Industrial Designer / Developer

Creating Tech packs and designs for backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, gloves and other accessories.

Product Developer - Equipment

-Currently working with Mountainsmith, and Upstream Backpacks on bag development.
-Previously freelance product development experience working for Grayl, Carhartt, CO.ALITION, MHM Gear, and Kush-Climbing.

Freelance Product Designer

Designed an updated version of the Grayl Ultralight Purifier Bottle.
Conducted Solidwork simulations for material testing.
Cut and edited videos designated for Facebook targeting ads.
Finalized 3D-models for first round of tooling and production.
Designed a titanium purifier bottle for international travel.

Industrial Design Intern

Created four backpacks and ten accessories for the 2018 line.
Facilitated design meetings between photographers and designers.
Generated manufacturing drawings and sampling with the factory.
Created custom patterns and hardware for 2018 line development.
Sewed prototypes to better understand function, and sizing.

Collaborated with trail associations on co-branded rainfly designs.
Updated construction and function on multiple existing backpacks.
Sized and sold backpacks at the flagship store and at brand events.
Created new Colorado-based colorways for the 2018 line.
Sourced and implemented new innovative materials.

Designed products for Bernzomatic, P&G, and Frito-lay.
Constructed lighting for the Autumn Adeigbo fashion-line party.
Designed packaging for Gillette, Renuzit, and Combat Pest Control.
Managed 3D printing capabilities for the product department.
Created interactive art pieces for Cincinnati Design Week.

Collaborated and generated designs for the GoSun Grill.
Generated 3D models for a solar stove for impoverished areas.
Built a looks-like functioning prototype of the GoSun Grill.
Generated content for the Kickstarter campaign landing page.
Defined reflector shape optimization for solar cooking.

Design Intern

Instructed and demonstrated basic rescue rappel techniques.
Taught the basics of climbing, and rappelling to kids and adults.
Managed equipment, holds and facilities for BSA climbing program.
Developed lesson plans to better demonstrate basics of climbing.
Created a week long lesson plan for Lvl 2 Instructor Certification.
