Allison Anderson is an artist from Anaheim, California whose work focuses on women in the media and pop culture who define their own version of feminism; women who embrace being called a “fucking bitch.” Though she considers herself just a painter, Allison continues to push herself into new mediums such as animations, film photography and video editing due to her intense love of drawing. She recently completed her MFA at Tyler School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia, PA. In 2014, the John F. Kennedy Center of The Performing Arts named her a Young Emerging Artist. She also completed her BFA at California State University Long Beach in 2014. When she is not in the studio painting some badass female or the medias next target, you can find her in the ocean paddling circles around the boys on her longboard.
