I am an experienced young sales professional looking to start a career in the Lifestyle Industry. I have worked in New York City as a B2B Foreign Exchange Broker for the past 4 years. During that tenure I have risen from Account Executive to Senior Relationship Manager to Regional Manager. I have a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets and am particularly adept at building relationships with my clients to ensure continuity of business and increasing our wallet share of their business. I have built my book of clientele through proactive and organic means to create an established book of business. I am looking to start a new career within a different industry, but one that I have much more personal interest in. I am very flexible in terms of location, given that the concrete jungle does not present the catalog of outdoor activities that other areas of the country do. Recruited to help establish a New York office for our Canadian parent company, Bendix Foreign Exchange. Brought on to help establish a strong book of business within the New York market by utilizing my existing contacts and through proactive means. I also assisted in hiring and training a class of interns. I was involved in decisions regarding office protocols and strategic business decisions.

Sales Manager

I was selected to head up the new Relationship Management Division within AFEX's New York office. It was my responsibility to to maintain my own book of business while taking on the top tier clients of any individual who left the firm. My goal was to solidify myself as their point of contact going forward and to build a strong personal relationship that would ensure business retention, maximize our wallet share of their business and obtain referrals to new business opportunities. I grew my book by 20% in this time period and opened 3-5 new accounts per month. I ensured that the clients were aware of any and all products that may apply to them and ensure that the system we had in place was the best solution for them. I entertained top tier clients at lunches, dinners, and events. I also assisted in training and overseeing the Junior Relationship Managers to ensure that they were managing the lower tier clients properly and selling the appropriate products to the appropriate clients.

Senior Relationship Manager 

Recruited by AFEX to start as an Account Executive. It was my responsibility to build my own book of business via phone calls, emails and meetings. I generated my own leads, qualified prospects, and then pursued qualified prospects to bring them on as new clients. After 7 months, I was consistantly exceeding my revenue targets and was the top producer in my class; I was then promoted into my next position at AFEX.

Account Executive

Entry level salesperson on a 9 person team. I proactively reached out to prospective clients on a daily basis via phone, email, and online chat to generate new business and achieve sales targets. I averaged 70 phone calls, 20-30 emails and 10-15 chat conversations a day. I obtained my Series 3 & 34 licenses while at Forex Capital Markets.
