Licensed Designer

Led and directed design team efforts in developing seasonal visual merchandising line presentations for fashion, active apparel, and home accessories. Identified trends and created graphics— in a wide variety of styles, within short time frames. Utilized trend research, sales force style suggestions, and  licensed or client artwork to produce cutting-edge, contemporary embellishment graphics for accessories and apparel. Reviewed prototypes with developers and suggested improvements for function, fabrication, innovation, color, and cost. Liaison between sales team and design department. Evaluated and prioritized overall workflow schedule. Conceptualization, design, copy writing and editing for industry print and email advertising. Print coordination, production and bid procurement for printed sell sheets, packaging, and two yearly 24 page catalogs and yearly website updates. Customers included many of the top active-lifestyle and juniors private-label brands and retailers.

Art Department Manager/Designer

Market research and development of campaigns for concept merchandising. Budget management, photo shoot arrangement and coordination of final production. Created t-shirt graphics, designs for labeling and improved salesforce kits.
