I believe that creativity is part of the underlying framework integral to any great company. As an artist with a BFA in Painting & Drawing, I've chosen to take a more interdisciplinary approach, successfully applying the skills I’ve gathered to graphic and web design, merchandising and display building, apparel buying, and social media management. My passion for the outdoors led me to combine all of these topics into one in the cycling industry as the Apparel Manager for Trek Bicycle Superstore, the #1 Trek Dealership in the United States, where I worked for almost three years. I am currently the purchaser and marketing director for Moment Bicycles. 

I have 5+ years of merchandising and graphic / web design experience, and 3 of those have been spent in the cycling industry (Riderep Agency, Trek Bicycle Superstore, and Moment Bicycles). One of my goals working in this predominately male industry is to grow its reach to women by creating spaces, signage, digital marketing, and policies within the stores, making them more female friendly.

I enjoy both collaborating with a group, as well as working independently and I take pride in my ability to take constructive criticism on designs and listen to client’s needs. I am an organized and task-oriented person and also have the ability to get things done to meet a short deadline. 

I love mountain biking, trail running, all kinds of skiing, yoga, beach/indoor volleyball, motocross, and skateboarding (to name a few). Ultimately, whether it is in the studio, the office, or the outdoors, I’m always looking forward to the next adventure.

At Moment Bicycles I work as the buyer for Bikes, Parts & Accessories, and Apparel. I also head or contribute to important company operations, such as marketing projects, social media, events organization, graphic / web design, and merchandising. Moment Bicycles is a fit-first shop, dedicated to maximizing comfort and performance on the bike through advanced bike fitting techniques. We are expanding to a second location, and now offer a variety of MTB, family, and fitness/commuter options in addition to our traditional selection of road and triathlon. 

I am currently working on freelance design projects, including custom jersey and cycling kit designs, merchandising concepts, and custom display building. Freelance Design

My duties as the Apparel Manager for Trek Bicycle Superstore included merchandising, graphic design, marketing, and purchasing for six stores. I designed and implemented common merchandising practices between stores, and designed and built display fixtures and seasonal displays. As the soft-goods buyer, I was able to take merchandising a step further by choosing the color stories, styles, and quantities of goods, then monitoring their sales through analytics. Graphic design and web design were also essential to this job to create common in-store and website catalog signage, original content for social media, custom jerseys, and marketing material. Apparel Manager

Black Isles Jewelry is the alias and company name for my jewelry design work. My pieces have been in various galleries and boutiques in the Park City/Salt Lake City area (Bunya Bunya, Flight Boutique, The St. Regis Deer Crest Boutique, The Starving Artist Exchange, and Alpine Art) as well as through my self designed and managed website (www.blackislesjewelry.com), and Etsy all over the world. My work has been featured in Mountain Town Magazine (Park City) and worn and purchased by celebrities.

Additionally Jan. 2016 - Present for a freelance merchandising design project.
