CVLT CREATE - Owner/Designer

L.A based designer who is driven, creatively talented, and kinesthetically adept creating a unique point of view on design for the apparel industry. 

I have worn many hats in career. From early on sewing ballet swimwear, to flourishing as an edgy children's wear designer, to accomplishments as the embroidery and repeat designer at Sunrise Brands denim and tops company, to more current achievements as a freelance designer and business owner. I believe that my passions for surfing, weightlifting, and outdoor recreation provide grace and inspiration to my work.

Through my vast industry experience and sponge like drive to learn I have an gained expertise in the basics of course Adobe Suite and  Microsoft Office, as well as hand illustration, repeat patterns, sewing, trend forecasting, and branding and website design and cohesion, and many more. Additionally I have acquired skills in back-end business management, ordering, managing contractors, production, bookkeeping, fulfillment channels including Amazon and website integration through Shopify.

SUNRISE BRANDS - Graphic Designer                                                                                                                                              

California Lifestyle & Tee Co. Develop company’s extensive line sheets and CADs for James Perse and Yosemite brands. Work closely with design team to execute accurate CADs. Work closely with merchandising department to develop line sheets used for in season and chase ordering.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with director, design, and merch teams.
• Develop screen print artwork and artwork tech packs.	
• Create and update men’s and Women’s line sheets and CADs for multiple outlets and brands.

JAMES PERSE - CAD Designer                                                                                                                                                          

I was brought on as the primary designer to oversee the smooth transfer of the brand from South Africa. It was my job to hit the ground running and to implement new processes and systems without having a gap in the seasonal development. Design for 3 in house brands: 
1) Wild Mango (Children's wear) 2) Tokyo Rose (women's sleepwear) 3) White Lotus Apparel (parent company, private label, and T-shirt blanks).
Responsibilities
• Independently handling all aspects of design, inspiration boards, illustrations/flats, colors, styling, treatments, repeat patterns, apparel graphics, labels, hang tags, and other branding as needed.
• Preform extensive market research.
• Design into sales and market trends.
• Design catalogs and promotional material.
• Create design briefs for freelance designers and oversee changes and communication.	
• Work directly with the technical designer.
• Attend fittings to ensure accurate design execution.
• Oversee sample development process and communication with overseas vendors.
• Present line to CEO and CFO for approval.
• Style and shoot the line for look books.
• Plan annual calendar. Maintain WIP reports.
• Answer phones, assist customers, make calls to collect payment from buyers and boutiques.
