Summary

I grew up as a skateboarding punk in Louisiana and Florida. During high school, I became more technically inclined, taking to Television Production and DJ'ing. Music became the focus, and I sought to grow my knowledge and collection exponentially. During college, I began working for Sam Goody/Musicland. By '03, and after much patronage, I eventually landed employment at my favorite independent record store -The Drop Shop. It was there that I expanded my network and began broadcasting music under the name 'Future Flavaz'. These efforts quickly morphed into a show production stint in the Orlando area; booking a series of acclaimed DJs for local event production. This passion evolved into a full-fledged music label project entitled 'Prestige Music Group'. In '07 I graduated from The University of Central Florida with a BA in Entrepreneurial Management. During this time I said farewell to music retail, and went on to start another business: I began investing in real estate by purchasing, renovating, and leasing an investment property in the Orlando area. Eventually I decided to relocate to sunny Los Angeles CA in '09, where I was lucky enough to find myself the opportunity to join the team at The Hundreds is Huge Inc., entry level. Rapidly appointed to the role of eComm Sales Manager for this leading apparel brand, I was gainfully employed with the company for nearly 9 years and learned a great deal as a fashion industry professional. As of July '17, I resigned from the position for an undeniable offer to join the rapidly growing cannabis industry. After a few months of travel, I relocated to the beautiful state of Oregon to assume the position of Operations Manager for the leading cannabis retailer. La Mota is on course to dominate the industry and I've learned much under their employ. Unfortunately I have gone with my gut again, and decided that Portland is ultimately not for me. I have resigned from this position after only 10 months, and have departed on good terms. Time to head back to California, as I now realize it's where I belong. As of June 2018, I will claim residence in Oakland, CA. Wish me luck!
