I have 9 years of retail sales experience in a specialty Ski and Snowboard Shop, along with 4 years of experience as a retail buyer and 3 years of experience as a store manager. I have a love for analytic research and the knowledge to find sales data to create projected buys across different departments. I have a great deal of experience working in a high stress environment and the knowledge to aid customers in buying high-end product. • Develop and maintain the apparel merchandising strategy and assortment plan for women's footwear and apparel for both brick-and-mortar locations and ecommerce
• Work closely with vendors such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Brooks, and Puma on key product launches and initiatives
• Work closely with VP of Merchandising to maintain a monthly sales, margin, and receipt plan
• Manage vendors and leads negotiations relating to price, terms, and delivery dates
• Negotiate all return to vendor opportunities, markdown allowances, and off-price opportunities
• Conduct market travel, Internet shopping comparisons, and competitor analysis
• Direct visual concepts and in-store merchandising floor plans for brick-and-mortar stores and ecommerce
• Assist in brand building concept including; new logo, company culture, back end systems and tool creation
• Analyze sales data to determine and forecast projected buys
• Maintain and track incoming POs and provide support to Shipping & Logistics Manager
• Create seasonal product assortments that meet trends, maximize sales, profit, and gross margin
• Remain flexible while meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks daily
• Chase inventory and promptly write orders when closeout lists are sent

Womens Buyer- Footwear/Apparel

•   Write orders est. $1.5M in total and create a digital book of completed purchase orders
•   Collaborate and travel with the buying team to meet with vendors and select assortment
•   Take part in making decisions regarding cutting brands and select styles based on OTB
•   Responsible for merchandising retail stores to ensure proper brand representation and flow
•   Work with the buying team to identify growth opportunities and minimize down-trending brand
•   Responsible for scheduling and managing a staff of over 50 employees
•   Routinely opening and closing the store while delegating daily tasks to employees
•   Approach browsing customers, determine needs, and assist them in completing a purchase all while
providing excellent customer service
