Owner, Designer

I am an artist and designer originally from Rochester, NY living in the Hudson Valley. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2016, and have since started my own business and been sailing professionally. 

I love outdoor gear, and anything that inspires and promotes healthy living and a healthy planet. I love to stay active by cycling to work, practicing yoga, hiking in the Catskills and sailing on the Hudson River. 



Design and fabrication of repurposed sailcloth and leather bags. Ideation, development and production of a complete collection. Design of website, logo and all branded material. 

Operation of Clipper City Tall Ship and Shearwater Classic Schooner for harbor tours. Customer service, safety of passengers, raising/lowering/trim of sails, rig maintenance and preservation of historical ship. First Mate allocates four deckhands to ensure a safe and successful trip, as well as monitors harbor traffic and radio communication. Graphic design and social media work for the Manhattan By Sail brand.

Sailmaker's Apprentice

Development and production of handmade leather bags, belts, wallets and custom goods. Cutting, hand stitching, hand riveting, and finishing of heavy leather and canvas products. 


Assistant Designer 

Design Development, technical specifications, CADS, illustration and rendering of high end men's dress shoes, boots and sneakers. Website product and lifestyle photography, social media and email newsletter campaign design. 

Design Intern

Hand blocking, stitching and finishing of custom bespoke hats, operation of industrial sewing machines, website photoshop color correction.
