Graphic Designer & Production Staff

Experienced Digital Compositor, Graphic Designer, and Team Supervisor - Currently Seeking New Opportunities

• Daily tasks include graphic design for advertisements and for use throughout the newspaper including special sections and flag and header designs. Layout of newspaper including pagination of classifieds section and pre-production InDesign template creation. 
 
• Larger tasks include managing the composing department's color standards and ensuring color consistency across the newspaper, working with editorial and printing press to do so. 
 
• I was tasked with overhauling, improving, and standardizing the composing department's color workflow and pre-press design standards and techniques including optimizing the CMYK separation settings to produce the best prints our press can create. 
 
• Software utilized includes the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Animation and rendering of dynamic and expository motion graphics for use by clients such 
as Edison Electric and GlaxoSmithKline 
 
• Animation done in Adobe After Effects utilizing elements from Adobe Illustrator

Motion Graphics Animator

• Modeling, animation, rendering, and compositing of 3D type for film trailers by Disney, Universal Studios, and others 
 
• Software utilized included Cinema4D, Maya, After Effects, and Nuke 
 
• Films included: Big Hero 6, Guardians of the Galaxy, Maleficent, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Planes 2, Need For Speed, Frozen, The Lone Ranger, Despicable Me 2, Oz the Great and Powerful, Disney/Pixar's Planes, Wreck-It Ralph, Frankenweenie, Secret of the Wings, The Lorax

Stereoscopic Visual Effects Designer

• Pre-production, direction, filming, editing, and post-production of a 30 minute science fiction thriller titled “UPLDR”

Director/Cinematographer/VFX Supervisor

• Nuke compositing support on the Esurance “What If” TV spot, including spatial and time warping and remapping of multiple elements used in the commercial

Nuke Compositor

• Design and implementation of a Nuke-based stereoscopic compositing pipeline 
• Supervision of a team of over 30 artists, reviewing work and providing daily feedback 
• Assisting producers in bidding new work and setting production goals 
• Personally interviewed and contributed to the hiring of all artists in the department 
• Films included: Monkey King 3D, Kung Fu Panda 3D

Stereo Compositing Supervisor

• Design and implementation of a novel stereoscopic conversion pipeline 
• Supervision of a team of up to 80 compositing artists both locally and internationally, 
reviewing work and providing feedback 
• Assisting producers in bidding new projects and setting production goals 
• Films included: My Soul to Take, Cats and Dogs 2, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Clash of the Titans

Stereo Compositing Supervisor & Stereographer

• Digital compositing in Eyeon Fusion for over 20 films 
• Combining filmed elements and CGI renders into seamless final images seen on screen 
• Films included: Avatar, The Tree of Life, GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra, The Maiden Heist, Dragonball Evolution, Red Cliff, Valkyrie, W., The Forbidden Kingdom, The Ruins, Asylum, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Grindhouse, Dungeon Siege, Life with Fiona

Digital & Stereo Compositor

• Web design including HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Macromedia Flash 
• Graphic design utilizing Adobe Photoshop, typesetting using Quark XPress 
• Video editing and DVD creation using Apple Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro

Multimedia Designer
